We are happy to feature new artist Dimitri Karakostas from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

  He says ”I grew up shooting hardcore bands, graffiti, skateboarding- like, well, every angry 16 year old does… as I got older, it turned into having bands play at my house ” his photos focus on a idea of manipulating the material to make it do things it was not exactly intended for. He enjoys the photos that barely come out at the end of the roll, or opening up the camera back with film still loaded, truly experimenting to get some pretty interesting outcomes. Dimitri trys to stay as ” far from photoshop and dSLRS as possible “. His ideas and works are on the brink of surrealism while still remaining connected to a immanent reality.
